A triptych is a picture, or set of pictures, on three panels. Dating from early Christian art, a triptych was placed on an alter to aid in prayer. I have adopted the form to meet more abstract images, though perhaps we should pray more to nature. These three pictures evoke the local images of trees in winter with the always colorful palm tree holding court in the center.
