One of the wonders of Crescent Beach where I live is the abundance of pelicans. Every morning and evening they fly low and fast in groups over the ocean searching for food. When a pelican spots a fish, it suddenly dips into the water to catch its prey. These majestic creatures have been around for 30 million years!
